In response to the Tsunami disaster Dave  is putting together a special  "Live and Acoustic" concert presentation on 22 January 2005 in Spitalfields, London as a fundraising event.

Says Dave "Over the years my travels have taken me a number of times to various parts of Sri Lanka and India, where I have had the privilege of initiating worship events with my band. These have led to strong relationships being forged with churches in the region, and a deep respect for their ongoing work. In the light of the recent horrific developments putting on a fundraising concert may be a small response to make but joining with many others around the country we need to show our compassion and identification at this time with the many who have suffered. The money raised will particularly go to support housing and caring for disaster victims in Sri Lanka." Dave's acoustic evening of songs, stories and faith will take place on Saturday 22 January at The Crypt, Christchurch, Commercial Street, Spitalfields, London E1 (nearest train station Liverpool Street), starting at 7:30pm (doors open 7:00pm). Admittance is free with a freewill offering to be taken during the concert. For further information and to reserve seats email pat@davebilbrough.com or telephone 01708 708911. There are plans also to record the event for a forthcoming project, profits of which will go towards funding Dave's continuing work in hosting worship events and seminars in these regions and beyond. Please do not bring young children who cannot sit still or sit quietly. Many thanks.

Across the street that weekend in tandem with Dave's concert a special Global Lounge 2pm to 11pm event has been arranged for the Tsunami disaster on the next day, Sunday 23 January at the Vibe Bar, Brick Lane, London. This event will feature a number of leading DJs, Dub, Sole Performers and Art Collectives.
